Live Casino games can be played at Chaplingames by all players registered on our website.
From the main menu, the player chooses a game and sees the table selection screen for games with live dealers. This window shows table names, table limits, and names of dealers for every table. Our online casino offers several tables with a variety of table limits to its players.
During the game, the player’s balance, table limits, etc. are shown on the screen.
To play live casino games, the player places chips of the chosen value on the table. In case there is no chip of the value needed by the player, he simply increases the initial bet by clicking on one of the available chips; each click will increase the bet by that chip value. For example, if you want to make a €30 bet, you should first click on a €25 chip and place it on the table; a subsequent click on a €5 chip allows you to make a bet of the chosen value. The total bet amount may be seen in the ‘TOTAL BET’ meter.
There is a timer on the left side of the screen, which shows the time left to place a bet.
Minimum and maximum bet amounts are posted at the table, on the left side of the screen. All bets lower than the minimum bet or higher than the maximum bet will be rejected. The player can also click on ‘CLEAR LAST’ to cancel the last bet. The player can remove all the bets placed by pressing ‘CLEAR ALL’. A click on ‘REPEAT’ allows the player to conveniently place the same bet(s) as in the preceding round.
Chat
To start chatting instantly use the white chat box in the bottom left corner of the screen. The player can chat with other players at the table and the dealer by typing a message in the chat box and clicking ‘Send’. Your message and messages of other players appear at the top of the screen.
Dealer and pit bosses of the Chaplingames Online Casino are always there to help and answer all your questions. Offensive and strong language, as well as hate speech are among some of the behaviours that are not allowed in chat sessions. All offenders will be temporarily suspended from the chat. The chat is in English.

BlackJack
Object of the game
The aim of the game is to accumulate cards with point totals as close to 21 without going over 21. To win the player needs to beat the dealer without busting.
Live Blackjack is played using eight standard decks of 52 cards. The decks are shuffled regularly by the dealer.
To join the game, the player chooses one or more (maximum of three) empty seats at the blackjack table. Before the first deal of the cards, the player must place and confirm his bet before the end of the betting period.
Gameplay
Card values:
- number cards, 2−10, count as face value;
- face cards, kings, queens and jacks, are equal in value to 10;
- aces are valued at either 1 or 11, depending on the amount of points scored by the player or dealer; if counting with aces and 11 in total exceeds 21 aces are counted as 1.
In Blackjack, bets are placed before the cards are dealt. Once the dealer says 'No more bets', the bets can no longer be placed or changed. The dealer is dealt two cards, and the players are dealt two cards in each box. The players’ cards are dealt face up, while only the dealer’s first card is shown.
Once this round of dealing is done, the dealer asks each player if he will stand or take a hit, in a clockwise manner around the table. If the player thinks that his hand is as close to 21 as it can get, he stands and does not take any more cards. If the player is not satisfied with the value of his cards, he takes a hit (draws another card from the dealer) until he gets a 21 or close or until he busts. If the total of the player’s cards surpasses 21, it is considered a ‘bust’ and the player automatically loses.
After the players are finished, it is the dealer’s turn to reveal his face down card and decide whether he would like to take another card. If the dealer’s hand is not a natural Blackjack (which is a soft ace and a picture card), then he hits until the value of his hand reaches 17 or until he busts.
If the player’s card total is greater than the dealer’s, or if the dealer busts, then the player is the winner. If the player’s card total is the same as the dealer’s, it is considered a ‘push’ and the player does not lose the bet.
Insurance
If the visible card of the dealer is an ace, the player may buy ‘INSURANCE’ by betting and additional 0.5 times his initial bet. To do this, the player needs to select ‘YES’ from the options. Once insurance bets have been made, the dealer checks to see if he has a 10 value card under the ace. If the dealer then gets Blackjack, the player will win 2 times his insurance bet. If the dealer does not get Blackjack, then the player loses his insurance bet and the outcome of his initial bet is determined by the total of the cards he is holding vs. the dealer’s cards.
Split
If a player is dealt two cards of the same value, he is entitled to “split” the cards and double his initial bet. He will now be playing two hands of Blackjack, one at a time. If the player splits aces, he is only dealt one more card to each hand. If he then draws a 10 value card on one of the split aces, the player will not receive a Blackjack payout because it is not considered Blackjack, instead it is considered a normal 21.
Double down
If the player’s first two cards total 9, 10 or 11, he may double his bet. He will then only be allowed one additional ‘HIT’ to complete his hand. It is also possible to double down after a split, except in the case of two aces.
Payoffs
- Blackjack wins pay 3 to 2 on the player's original stake. Other wins pay at 1 to 1.
- Hands which have equal value with the dealer are considered a tie, or a 'push', and no money is won or lost.
- In cases where the player busts (goes over 21), then the dealer wins without turning over the card.
Baccarat
Object of the game
The object of Baccarat is to predict if the player’s or the banker's hand will get a point value closest to 9.
The three possible bets in Baccarat are player, banker and tie (when both the player and the banker have the same value hand). The player decides between the player’s hand and the banker’s hand, and places his bet on the hand which he thinks has the maximum chance for winning (highest value). The player must place his bet before the cards are dealt.

At the start of the game, the player places chips of the chosen value on the table. To do this, he clicks on the chip he wants to use first and then on one of the boxes marked ‘Player’, ‘Banker’ or ‘Tie’. All bets lower than the minimum bet or higher than the maximum bet will be rejected.
After the bets are placed, both the player’s hand and the banker’s hand receive two cards each. The cards are dealt face up. In certain cases, a third card is dealt to the player or the banker or both.
Scoring
In Baccarat, aces count as 1; 2 through to 9 as their face value; ten's and face cards (those with a face on them) count as 0. If the total value of the hand is ten points or more, then ten is subtracted, and the remainder is the baccarat point value of the hand. For example, a hand of 8 and 3 has a value of 1, not 11.
The highest score in Baccarat is a 9, while the lowest score is a 0. A hand with a value of as close to 9 as possible wins. A total of 8 or 9 with the first two cards is called a natural. Natural 9 is the best hand in Baccarat, Natural 8 is the second best. If either the player or the banker has a natural, they both stand.
Every player in the game will be dealt with two cards. Neither the player, nor the banker chooses whether to take an extra card or not—all decisions for drawing cards are based on the Third Card Rule.
Third card rule
In certain cases, a third card is dealt to the player or the banker or both. This depends on the hand value, and is based on the following rules.
If either the player or the banker has a natural, they both stand. This rule overrides all other rules.
If neither the player nor the banker has a natural, and the player hand has a value of 5 or less, the hand receives a third card. If the player’s cards total 6 or 7, they are required to stand.
If the player does not draw a third card, the banker deals a card for the banker’s hand valued at 5 or less, and stands for hands valued at 6 or more.
If the player does take a third card then the Third Card Rule below determines if the banker takes a third card (‘H’ for HIT, ‘S’ for STAND).

The player wins if his bet has been placed on the hand with the highest value (Player/Banker).
If both the baccarat player's hand and the banker's hand have equal totals, the game result is a tie. If the player has placed a bet on the ‘TIE’ field, he wins. If the player makes a bet either on the banker's hand or on the player’s hand and a tie comes up, then the player gets his money back.
Payoffs
- A bet placed on Player pays off 1 to 1.
- A bet placed on Banker pays off 1 to 1 less 5% bank’s commission.
- A bet placed on Tie pays off 8 to 1.
Roulette
Object of the game
The object of the live roulette game is to correctly predict the slot on which the roulette ball will eventually land after the wheel stops spinning. The win amount depends on the bet placed.
Types of bets
Live roulette players have a variety of betting options. Roulette bets may include straight, colour, street, column bets, etc. to cover a number range of the player’s choice, which, in its turn, determines the maximum possible win amount.
The first five types of bets are all made on the numbered space or on the lines between them, and are called inside bets. The last three types are made on the special boxes to the left and at the bottom of the board, and these are called outside bets. Types of bets and the respective payouts are illustrated and explained below.

When placing a bet on the ‘NEIGHBOURS’, the player is betting on a number on an elliptical representation of the wheel that appears on the screen and is known as a racetrack. Bets are made on a number straight up and its 2 neighbour numbers at either side on the wheel. This makes it a 5 number bet.
The player can also place ‘SECTOR’ bets on Tier, Orphelins or Voisins du Zero to cover an entire section of the roulette table with the minimum number of chips.
While the roulette wheel is spinning, the maximum possible win amount is shown in the ‘WIN MAX’ box under ‘PLAYERS’.
The ‘RECENT HISTORY’ box on the right side of the screen displays a list of the last ten winning numbers. The ‘STATISTICS’ section lists ‘hot’ numbers (the most frequent numbers) and ‘cold’ numbers (the numbers that have appeared least amount of times).
